Full Moon News for November

It’s the full moon tonight. I just LOVE the full moon. The moon is my planetary ruler, which means that it has great influence in my chart. So when the moon is full, I generally feel fuller and have more energy. 

The phases of the moon affect everything, even if the moon is not your planetary ruler. We should all be paying more attention to where the moon is in our charts, because that will shed light on what area of life is affected (what we’re thinking and feeling about). 

This is a big full moon in the Jyotish (Vedic astrology) realm. Offering prayers to Lord Shiva (an aspect of Divine energy) is very helpful, especially in starting new projects. It’s also a great day to make ghee. Be sure to check out my How to Make Ghee video. 

There are so very many planetary movements this month!

We have Mercury retrograde beginning on the 9th (speech and communications). Mars in Scorpio, which is a super powerful place to be. It can help you push through. But don’t push too hard, Mars can also show up as anger and aggression. 

Jupiter, the planet of expansion, support and abundance, is in a very nice placement in Cancer right now. It may bring gifts or blessings. It’s only in this placement until December 5th. It goes retrograde on the 11th. But next year it will be back in Cancer for a full year. I can’t wait!

Here’s the thing: If you don’t know where Jupiter is in your chart, your focus might be somewhere else and you could potentially miss the opportunities Jupiter offers you during this time. Jupiter asks you to create your own luck and helps you get there.
