Resolutions? Not So Fast
As we leave 2025 behind, you maybe tempted to make some big resolutions. THIS will be the year you get in shape, organize your finances, practice more self-care, or whatever you decide to be the new and improved you. Novel idea!
However, there are a few things to take into consideration and plan for - or you could end up disappointed and doing it all over again next year.
1. What has been holding you back in the past? What deep patterns (that you may not even be aware of) have been running the show?
This deeper programming needs to shift for success. Aligning with your dharma and brining greater ease in your endeavors is what we all want. And yet we struggle. Join me for the Dharma workshop to unpack this further - see details below.
2. Why fight the Universe when we can use the energy of the Sun and stars to chart a map of optimal timing? Why start your New Year's resolution on a day that is sure to bring greater resistance?
The sun isn’t in a great position to bring you the power of its light right now. But it will be! Just later in the month. Use this time to move slowly, go inward and really feel into what is best for you. Find out what has held you back. And then when the time is right and aligned with your soul - go for it!
Here is how I can help:
- Join me in person at Yoga House Pasadena on January 24 for my new workshop Dharma: Aligning with Your Divine Purpose - The Secret to Setting Intentions for Success. Or join us at the online workshop on January 25, for those of you who can’t be there in person.
- You can also book a Vedic Astrology reading so we have a personal map to your soul’s desires and ways to move with clarity.
- And for those of you that would like personal Vedic Counseling to step into a year of true transformation and greater inner peace, let’s set up a discovery call and customize a program for you.
- Start slow - come to Yoga Wednesdays at 8:30am starting January 7, In person or online.

Lastly, coming late Winter, The JoyWork Academy will be doing a deep dive into the Bhagavad Gita. We will meet once a month to unpack the ancient wisdom still so relevant to our lives. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning from this amazing story of self-discovery. Please join the wait list here.
Wishing all of you a steady and peaceful New Year!
